skills vs. performance deficits

While students, primarily interact with obstacles involving a lack of motivation and the inability to understand the topic they are learning. This can make things very hard for students and send them back on work and knowledge. To understand the difference the best to can do is understand your students struggles rather it be a skill or motivational problem, and you can't understand that without talking to them. Talking to students directly can give you a sense of what the student is going through and where to go on from that. Discussions like behavioral issues, going over what's not working for them, and ways to build a trusting relationship should be gone over which can lead you to refraining from things that aren't working and building ways to actively gain students interest but also making it a easier way for students to understand.      Students that are going through skill deficits can be overwhelming and lead them to gradually stop trying i...

Student engagement improvement

While having a classroom be strictly over the screens it can cause students to lose motivation, but I provided five strategies that can be used to create a motivating classroom to encourage students to engage in the class and work. The first strategy would be c reating an online forum for discussions,  An online discussion space can be a great opportunity for everyone to participate, give their opinion, get to know the views of others. Secondly, having more group work. The group work allows students to talk and interact like they would in the in-person classroom and also gives students the chance to bounce thoughts off one another. Third, being present with your students. Although you  can't see them doesn't mean you can't conduct one on one chats making sure each student is understanding material or if they may need extra help. Fourth, creating a class calendar/syllabus where students can see what's going ...

The program allows teachers to create interactive presentations that can contain Quizzes, Polls, Videos, Collaborate Boards, and much more. Nearpod has many benefits with students such as creating a  comfortable and encouraging classroom that also ensures that students are on task and participating with its use of diversity of how students reply based on their comfort whether it may be typed, through imagery, or summited through a video/voice recording.       Nearpod  has certain limitations towards its users, though. For Silver accounts, which is the free accounts that allow up to 40  students  join per lesson. If you and your school/district has a Premium Plus account that would allow up to 250  students  to join per lesson with paying a $29 monthly fee...

VR training tools

In todays blog I wanted to discuss the use of VR and AR learning as an educational tool! The tool that I wanted to talk in depth today is  Google Expeditions.  Google Expeditions is  a virtual reality education app that  enables teachers to take their classes   to  Go on  a virtual field trip with  multiple  places of arts and cultures.  Google Expeditions  consists of five subjects that you can interact with being: Arts, Technology  , History,  Natural History,  Science and  Geography which is giving schools the ability to  their students to truly experience things they couldn't have with just staying in the walls of the classroom.      This tool of learning helps both students and teachers of all age groups from K-12. These tools  don't only just help students get a sense of education on cultures that they haven't seen before, but it's...
